"Quite innovative"

I like the animation and the way the storyline is presented (without dialogue) it's very interesting and different. Full of funny bits and a cute rabbit ^^ I liked this version of Gretel and Hansel better than the real one.

"A good start but it could use more"

This is a very fun game in some ways. I happen to love these sort of 'economics' games, which in a way was a bit like the drug dealing game 'Hustler' in that one of the main objectives was to make money. I liked the character customization option, and the little blurbs in each town that described a bit of its history. The change in scenery as you travel the rpg world was also quite nice.

However, besides the obvious standout of the game, which was the wealth-building aspect, a lot of the other features seemed to be rudimentary. The battle system with the people you meet along the way was overly simplistic and dreary after a time. The upgrades were novel, but kind of felt superficial and were very easy to obtain. The music needed some work. Finally, I think the worst pitfall of all with this game was a lack of any sort of storyline that was deep enough to really pull a person into a game and make it a true rpg--I felt no real connection with my character ='( Also, I think that there was not enough freedom--not because there was too much control over your choices, but because there were not really enough choices to make.

Even with that many flaws, it is a very addicting game and fun to play ^^ If you could fix anything, I would hope it would be making the price system more elastic, so that it wouldn't be so easy to get rich off of arbitrage.

You've po'd a lot of people by making this game a demo and not telling them at the outset. That is a bit disappointing and idk if anyone will pay for it lol. But the game itself is really great; it's super addicting and gratifying after you get good at it. The music and graphics are really good as well. The only thing that could use a bit of help is the 'tutorial' which is too quick and leaves a lot of things uncovered. Still, it's a great game.
